We’ve all heard the expression “do more with less.”  Yet none of us has met the mystical “Les” – the guy who apparently can ‘do more’!  So until he shows up, LPi will try to bring you the next best thing.. IT on a Shoestring.  This session will take a look at some of the free and no-cost cloud-based software and services your churches can consider for their use.  More importantly, we’ll discuss policy considerations the diocesan offices responsible for IT infrastructure and software requirements can implement.  We’ll share strategies on how to ensure parishes, staff and volunteers stay aware of standards for the protection of data and parishioners.   Attendees will also gain insight into questions that parishes should be prepared to answer about ‘why’ and ‘for what purpose’ applications, software, and infrastructure is necessary in their ministries or business operations.
